Columbia Gas of Virginia has new procedures for submitting application requests for new gas service line installations and conversion installations. These changes will allow us to expedite your request and to improve our service.

(Please note that these forms are for builders and contractors only. If you are a residential customer with a Columbia Gas residential account, and you need to establish service at your home, please use our DirectLink e-Services).

For builders and contractors:

All requests for new gas service line installations should be called in to our New Business Team or completed online. Our online forms automatically e-mail your application to us when submitted.

General Information Request

After we receive your application
Once we receive your information and enter it into our system, you will receive a PSID number for each property. A security deposit may be required based on your credit history. You will be contacted by the sales representative who handles your area when the site survey is completed.
